Madrone 4-H is a Home School 4-H Club

The Madrone 4-H Club operates on a home school friendly schedule; our club is open to all students and families. Typically, we meet from 10AM-1:00PM on the 1st Wednesday of each month at Faith Community Church in Rohnert Park.  Our member ages currently range between 5 and 12 years old, but our group is welcome to members and cross-clubbers of all ages. The cost for membership is $63 per student member; plus $63 for leaders.

  • We have a project meeting following every club meeting.

  • Healthy snacks and water are always provided for members and guests who RSVP in advance.

  • Families should plan to spend 3.5 hours each month as part of our regular club meeting & agenda. There are always opportunities to get more involved, without extra pressure to participate.

  • Our club meeting is generally held once a month, on the first Wednesday, at Faith Community Church in Rohnert Park.

Currently, we have two official projects on schedule for the next year; Community Service and Environmental Education.  In 2017, we had our first service project, a Bake Sale / Fundraiser on March 3rd, and our club prepared miniature gardens and baked cakes for the 56th Annual ChickenQue on May 7, 2017.

The Madrone Club started an animal project with chickens this spring/summer. Some families are raising chickens and we want to learn more about and work with bees.  We support a homeless outreach project twice a month and have lots of ideas about how else we can learn and grow with our community and with our environment. Our meeting times and club are always open to new friends and members; if our club seems a good fit for your schedule and goals, please join us!

PLEASE NOTE: If you are not a registered member, but would like to attend some meetings, please make sure to RSVP to ensure we have enough supplies and snacks on hand for your student. It is important to mention for planning purposes that we a limited budget to accommodate annual members plus friends who wish to drop-in on occasion.

Questions & RSVP @ mailtojess@yahoo.com.

Families are welcome and encouraged to join our club and then 'cross club' for a variety of alternative projects.
